Chocolate comes from cocoa. Cocoa originated with the Mayans thousands of years ago, and was held to be food of the gods. Currently, the several hundred heavy-fruiting cocoa trees belonging to A-shin Chocolate Farm, are also contract farmed in cooperation with neighboring farmers.
Under the leadership of a Dutch master, A-shin picked cocoa pods from the trees, put them through fermentation, washing, drying, mixing beans, grinding, refining, shaping, and after countless testing, finally brought out the 'UNCLE CHOCO Taiwan chocolate' taste.
Apart from chocolate with the bitter taste of cocoa beans, UNCLE CHOCO Taiwan chocolate also has sweet-tasting chocolate with fruit flavors added, which is healthier and smoother to the taste. In the production process, the original finer qualities of cocoa beans are retained, and the chocolate is not overly processed, preserving the rich cocoa butter for everybody to enjoy. There are also no artificial alkalizing processes, and a balance between health and taste is achieved, making it more suitable for members of the public who don't have a sweet tooth to enjoy.
A native-born and bred Taiwanese, who loves this piece of land called Taiwan, and hopes through his own effort to care for local people, things and affairs.
A dream maker, A-shin Chocolate Farm is a dream come true from the blueprints conceived by Uncle A-shin!
